Export Performance from June 2012 to July 2013 (2005EC)

As a country whose economy is predominantly dependent on agriculture, Ethiopia’s trade is highly dependent on the export of wide verities of agricultural products.. Coffee is the prime export product for Ethiopia, while livestock export is also substantial. In terms of world livestock production, Ethiopia holds the tenth position. Other main items of export are gold, leather products, pulses and oil seeds.
