Adama Agricultural Machinery Industry to Buy Tractors Worth U.S. $90 Million From Ursus
The Adama Agricultural Machinery Industry (AAMI) has signed a contract with the agricultural machinery producer, Ursus, worth $90 million. Ursus, a Polish company, will supply 3,000 tractors and spare parts to the Ethiopian company. It will also provide service centers for the vehicles. Ursus said that it plans to extend cooperation with the Ethiopian firm on farming machinery and equipment.
AAMI is expected to receive the tractors in late Quarter 2 (April – June) or early Quarter 3 (July – September) 2014.
