Ethiopia Hosts Oilseed Industry Leaders from around the Globe

More than 460 Ethiopian and international importers, exporters, invited guests and government officials from around the world attended the third international conference on pulses, oilseeds and spices on November 13th and 14th. In addition to sponsoring the conference, USAID AGP-AMDe partnered with the Ethiopian Federal Cooperative Agency to sponsor 10 export ready farmers’ cooperative unions to meet international buyers and expand export opportunities.

EPOSPEA and other industry leaders and stakeholders joined with the U.S. Government and many private sponsors as a major contributor to this strategic event. Developing the sesame and chickpea value chains are an important part of USAID’s Agricultural Growth Program-Agribusiness Market Development.
